Bike, Walk, & Wheel Week
Columbia's annual celebration of using active transportation

MAY 2—10, 2026
Bike, Walk, & Wheel Week is Columbia’s annual celebration of using active transportation to get around our community. We're excited to host events during the week that focus on biking, walking, and wheeling for you to participate in!
20+ years of Bike, Walk, & Wheel Week
Local Motion created Bike, Walk, & Wheel Week in partnership with Mayor Darwin Hindman in 2002. Each year the week-long series of events encourages hundreds of people in Columbia to be more active by walking, biking, using a wheelchair, or riding the bus in a fun, social setting.
